15.10.22 Applied for a POCSAG Transmitter NOV with Callsign MB7PNU to be co-hosted at the same location as GB3EI and GB7EI this will give local users access to the DAPNET Pager service and will operate on UHF Frequency of 439.9875Mhz The NOV is expected soon the ETCC have approved the application and its gone to Ofcom for final allocation and issue of the NOV.
30.03.17 The NOV was issued today 30th March 2017 the fastest Application completion we have ever seen, thanks goes to the ETCC Team and Coordinator Colin GM8LBC. Test reports would be handy, the few local operators can only assist as and when possible, Signal reports would be very useful, so far the coverage map seems to be accurate.
06.04.17 Ordered the masthead pre-amp kit from mini-kits Australia, Next trip (May-17) will install new RX Antenna Diamond X50 and the pre-amp. That should give better signal to noise. Also its planned to make the base for the lattice tower, so that the antennas can be moved too.
16.04.17 Built the Mast Head preamp kit its now in testing phase, some engineering required to install into its water proof case ready for mounting under the new Diamond X50 receive only antenna.
